Coaching
For Those in need of Non Clinical Support
Have you ever wanted someone to talk to and work with, but therapy wasn't a medical necessity? If therapy isn't right for you, then coaching may be an option. Coaching is not therapy, and if you have been a therapy client with us you cannot switch to coaching and vise versa. Coaching can be a combination of online course work, group coaching calls, or individual coaching calls. To learn more, send an email or schedule a consultation to determine your options.
Coaching vs Therapy
The main difference between coaching and therapy lies in their focus, purpose, and approach:
-
Therapy is designed to help individuals heal from past traumas, manage mental health conditions, and navigate emotional difficulties. It often explores past experiences, unconscious patterns, and psychological distress to promote healing and well-being. Therapists are licensed professionals trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
-
Coaching is future-focused, helping individuals set and achieve personal or professional goals, improve performance, and create actionable strategies for success. Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions but instead provide guidance, motivation, and accountability to help clients move forward. Another key difference is that coaching is not restricted by location. Anyone in the U.S. can work with us.
In short: therapy focuses on healing and mental health, while coaching focuses on growth and goal achievement.
